Early Direct Deposit
Wouldn’t it be nice if payday came early, without you asking? With PACU’s Early Direct Deposit, your paycheck arrives up to two days sooner than the typical payday.
Why Wait for Payday?
With Early Direct Deposit, payday doesn’t have to land on a calendar square. It can arrive fashionably early, up to two days sooner, giving you more time to breathe, plan and maybe even treat yourself. With paychecks or federal benefits, we’ll post your funds as soon as they come in.

Get Paid Up to Two Days Early.
Once your employer (or benefits provider) sends the deposit file, we post your money, so there is no waiting for the “official” payday. Social Security, VA benefits and other federal payments can arrive up to two days early, too.

No Enrollment Required. No Fee for this Benefit.
Our Early Direct Deposit is a free benefit that comes standard with direct deposit into one or more of the following PACU checking or savings accounts so that you can pay bills, cover expenses and make weekend plans on your timeline:

Works with Any Employer. Set It and Forget It.
As long as your employer offers direct deposit, we’ll ensure you get access to your funds as soon as we receive them. Enroll once for direct deposit and enjoy early access every pay period. There is no need to manually request early release.

Early Direct Deposit FAQ’s
Many times, if you have a direct deposit established for your paycheck or recurring federal benefits, your employer or applicable federal agency will send information for direct deposit of your paycheck or recurring benefits payment to your designated account up to two days before the scheduled payment date. When this occurs, we will make these funds available to you on the day we receive the payment information instead of waiting until the scheduled payment date to make them available.
Receiving your direct deposit early depends on the timing of when we receive direct deposit payment information from your employer or federal agency. We cannot make funds available in your account before your employer or applicable federal agency sends us the direct deposit payment information. Your payment will not be made available in your account early if Piedmont Advantage does not receive the direct deposit payment information before the scheduled deposit date.
If you already have direct deposits set up with your employer or applicable federal agency to your Piedmont Advantage checking, money market, Regular Share Savings, Personal Select Savings or Al Pacu Club Savings account, there are no required steps to get your payments early. As soon as we receive direct deposit information from your employer or applicable federal agency, which can be up to two days early, we will make these funds available to you.
No. This feature is built-in to all Piedmont Advantage checking, money market, Share Savings, Personal Select Savings and Al Pacu Club Savings accounts. It will automatically apply if you have an eligible direct deposit set up to one of these accounts.
