Our Al Pacu Club Savings Account is more than a place to stash cash gifts from relatives and allowance money. It’s a first step toward financial confidence. This account helps young savers build healthy money habits in a safe, supportive environment.
For obvious security and identity protection reasons, all minor accounts must be opened in person at one of our branches. This ensures we can properly verify your and your child’s identity, helping to keep your child’s financial future safe from the start.
Milestone Birthday Rewards
Get $10 deposited into the Al PACU Club Savings Account on the last day of the calendar month of the primary accountholder’s milestone birthday.1,3 Milestone birthdays are at five years old, 10 years old and 15 years old.
Academic Achievement Rewards
Earn $1 per “A” or equivalent grade on a report card and $1 for any full letter grade improvement (or equivalent) shown on a report card in the same subject during the previous grading period2,3.
Present the report card at one of our branches to claim the reward and receive a deposit into your Al Pacu Club Savings Account.
Meet Al Pacu
Al Pacu is the official PACU Youth Program mascot. With his love for aviation, it was only natural for him to join Piedmont Advantage Credit Union. And he has a story worth telling.

These six counties are Davie, Forsyth, Guilford, Iredell, Mecklenburg and Rockingham.

2Academic Achievement Rewards: Earn $1 per “A” or equivalent grade on a report card, and $1 for any full letter grade improvement (or equivalent) shown on a report card compared to the grade in the same academic subject area in the immediately prior grading period, up to a maximum of $10.00 in Academic Achievement Rewards Program during each calendar year (not per academic year).
3To receive an Academic Achievement or Milestone Birthday Rewards, the PACU Club Savings must remain open through the date the Academic Achievement Reward or Milestone Birthday Reward is deposited. The Academic Achievement Rewards and Milestone Birthday Rewards Programs are subject to modification or termination following account opening without prior notification.
