PACU Teaches Financial Literacy Lesson

At Piedmont Advantage Credit Union, we take financial literacy seriously year-round, especially in April, Financial Literacy Month. That means, whenever we get the opportunity to teach a lesson at local schools, camps or programs, we take it.
Today, we joined the Sullenberger Aviation Museum and West Charlotte High School (WCHS) students for their Flight Forward program, which is for WCHS juniors and seniors who have a passion for exploring aviation career opportunities and are eager to secure internships either after high school or during their college years.
Our Charlotte Branch Manager, Carrieanne Holt, spoke about different post-high school pathways and how, whether you choose to attend a four-year university, a trade school or immediately join the workforce, budgeting and savings help you build a financially successful future.
Thank you to Sullenberger Aviation Museum for inviting us to be a part of this program. We look forward to building this partnership and continuing to have an impact on your communities’ financial literacy.
