PACU Scholarships Help Open the Door to Higher Education
The College Board estimates the average annual in-state tuition for public four-year colleges and universities is $10,000. You can multiply that by two or three if you attend an out-of-state or a private college. None of these costs includes room and board.
So, how will you afford it? While student loans are an option, other ways exist to afford higher education, such as scholarships!
PACU offers multiple scholarships each year in collaboration with the Carolinas Credit Union Foundation and Forsyth Technical Community College Foundation.
PACU General Scholarships for high school seniors and beyond: Between October 1 and February 1, complete the scholarship application administered by the Carolinas Credit Union Foundation. Notifications are in April, with funds remitted directly to the institution in July.
PACU and Davidson Family Aviation Scholarship Fund for students pursuing a career in aviation systems technology: We established an annual $2,000 scholarship fund at Forsyth Tech Community College with Mark and Elizabeth Davidson to celebrate our strong ties in the aviation industry. Applications are accepted between March 15 and April 30 for consideration for the following academic year. Forsyth Tech Community College Foundation administers our scholarships.
