Piedmont Advantage Credit Union is seeking an energetic Member Service Representative to work in our fast-paced Call Center in Winston-Salem, NC. The Member Service Representative will assist members and potential members with their Credit Union needs; explaining services, setting up new accounts, responding to problems, and directing members to the appropriate contacts within the Credit Union. This is a Full Time position in our inbound call center.

Essential Functions:

  • Assists members with opening and closing accounts, answers questions about products and services and resolves problems that are within their authority to resolve.
  • Refers problems that are beyond their authority to their supervisor, along with their recommendations.
  • Identifies cross-sell opportunities and cross-sells services to members.
  • Maintains member account information on computer system.
  • Assures that appropriate records are maintained and required reports are prepared.
  • Acts as liaison between members and various organizations and departments.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

  • Possesses six months to two years of similar or related experience.

Piedmont Advantage Credit Union seeks to hire a self-starter who will provide direct support for our members via the branches and call center as it relates to all credit, debit, gift and prepaid card portfolios. The incumbent will be required to have or gain knowledge of all card processing to include BINs, pre-authorizations, signature, PIN, and online purchases. New cards and PINs and their renewals will be a critical function for this role. Data breaches and fraudulent transactions as well as a thorough knowledge of Regulation E as it relates to disputed EFT transactions is a must. This role will be required to work in a fast paced team environment where multi-tasking and detail orientation is invaluable.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Proactively support staff with member related questions in order to provide quality products and services through prompt resolution which enhances the lives of our member/owners.
  • Maintain confidentiality, regulatory compliance, security, and procedural adherence in order to provide safety and soundness to operations to the credit union.
  • Pull and review all Co-Op reports for reissued cards, new cards and PINs, and fraud.
  • Process Visa cash advance fees, EFT disputes and lockbox files.
  • Review and process residual FIS adjustments as well as all debit and credit card exceptions.
  • Monitor ATM cards and inquiries, corporate cards and corresponding payments, and merchant breaches with corresponding impact on card portfolios.
  • Maintain card inventory for prepaid cards and gift cards.
  • Actively participate in procedural assessment and recommendation of changes to provide efficiency in our ongoing operation.
  • Embrace and participate in your development and career with the credit union as well as with that of your team members.
  • Perform additional/special assignments related to research, recommendation, development, revision, and/or implementation to either current or new products or services. This would include covering the duties of others who might be working on said additional/special assignments.

Piedmont Advantage is seeking an energetic and engaged Learning Facilitator to join our fast-paced Credit Union in Winston-Salem, NC. The Learning Facilitator will work to improve overall employee effectiveness/performance through the application of individual and group training techniques and programs, consistent with the Credit Union's organizational priorities.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Delivers learning sessions at an exceptional level using established delivery standards. Sessions may take the form of classroom delivery, blended learning delivery and support, one-on-one coaching, performance improvement analysis, group practice sessions, and pilot workshops. Leads the delivery of group and individual instruction and learning covering a large range of technical and operational hard skills, as well as soft skills facilitation including, but not limited to, new employee onboarding, cross-departmental learning, the Piedmont Advantage Credit Union Culture, the Credit Union Movement, internal technology and resources, and job specific skills.
  • Works with Learning Leader to evaluate and design curricula, learning materials and mediums, classes, and procedures. Assists the Learning Leader with updating and maintaining the credit union's learning library and electronic documents for growth and excellence, the production of "quick hit" learning, and various strategic projects.
  • Tracks learner progress through tests, observation, and feedback from supervisors to assess training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills, techniques, methodology, and philosophy into employees work behavior. Develops, and delivers reporting to demonstrate participation, progress towards learning objectives, and business impact. Develops reports for leadership that measure the effectiveness of learning initiatives implemented.
  • Promotes the importance of continued education and lifelong learning through various mediums to make learning opportunities known throughout the credit union and to increase employee development.
  • Stays abreast of the new trends and tools in employee development and makes recommendations as to how they can be useful to Piedmont Advantage Credit Union.
  • Leads the credit union's regulatory learning requirements by assigning, tracking, and reporting computer based modules to ensure all credit union personnel are in compliance with regulations.

Piedmont Advantage is seeking an energetic and engaged Member Experience Advisor (MEA) to join our fast-paced, state of the art, branch location off Stratford road in Winston-Salem, NC. The MEA will be responsible for conveying a sense of welcome to our member-owners and facilitate an experience where member-owners are empowered through education to make sound financial decisions. This position will require that all incumbents know our entire deposit and lending operation thoroughly in order to give the high level of service that our members deserve. Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the delivery of efficient, accurate and professional service of all financial products and services that defines excellent member experience.
