Piedmont Advantage Credit Union seeks to hire a BSA Supervisor for our fast paced, growing credit union. The BSA Supervisor is responsible for developing, implementing, and administering all aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act Compliance Program.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Performs various quality control reviews and monitoring in the area of Bank Secrecy
    Act, USA Patriot Act, Anti-Money Laundering, OFAC and Customer Identification
    Program compliance using industry standard and regulatory guidance sampling methods. Serves as the credit union's BSA Officer.
  • Monitors changes in laws, regulations and trends. Maintains files and shares information to the
    appropriate departments.
  • Responsible for managing the Credit Union's BSA compliance programs. Monitors compliance
    with BSA Rules and regulations.
  • Reviews reports associated with BSA. Investigate cases produced by BSA software,
    decides on further action if appropriate. Identifies suspicious activity (Red Flags)
    in the reviews process. Reviews documentation for certain high risk accounts.
  • Collects information from other outside sources to help in determining if further action/
    investigation is required.
  • Documents investigative steps in the Case Management System including internet searches,
    world-check, advanced due diligence and maintain supporting documentation for all
  • Advises the Credit Union's Compliance Officer, Senior Management and personnel of emerging
    compliance issues and consults and guides the Credit Union in the establishment of controls to
    mitigate risks.
  • Identifies and completes required reports for filing of Suspicious Activity.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of the BSA training program for all staff.
  • Analyzes complex situations and provide guidance, and escalate issues to appropriate levels of
  • Investigates all unusual or suspicious activity identified by the monitoring software of the
    Compliance Department or referred by other departments of the Branch and determine whether
    the filing of a Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) is warranted.
  • Performs other job related duties as required.

Education, Training, Experience:

  • Two years to five years of similar or related experience.

Piedmont Advantage seeks to hire an energetic Call Center Manager who is driven towards results and has a proven track record of change management in a call center environment. The incumbent will manage, lead and direct the operations of the credit union's inbound Call Center, ensuring the department meets or exceeds organizational financial, operational, service, and growth plans. The Call Center Manager ensures members and potential members receive fast, courteous, and accurate service from our Member Service Representatives; giving staff the resources and training needed to explain services, set up new accounts, respond to problems, and any other member need that should arise.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Manage call center staff by scheduling, training, coaching, and monitoring performance to achieve optimal productivity and results.
  • Monitor call center operating results relative to established objectives and insures that appropriate steps are taken to correct unsatisfactory conditions.
  • Monitor all call center activities to insure they are in compliance with established credit union policies and procedures.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities for members and train call center staff to do the same.
  • Ensure member account information is properly recorded on computer system and all paper documents are appropriately filed.
  • Review call center activity reports to analyze trends, measure goal achievement, monitor departmental and individual employee performance, and take any corrective action.
  • Represent the call center as appropriate in its relationships with members, sponsor organizations, suppliers, other financial institutions, and similar groups.

Education, Training, Experience:

  • Five years to ten years of similar or related experience.
  • A minimum of five years in management.

Piedmont Advantage Credit Union is seeking an energetic Member Service Representative to work in our fast-paced Call Center in Winston-Salem, NC. The Member Service Representative will assist members and potential members with their Credit Union needs; explaining services, setting up new accounts, responding to problems, and directing members to the appropriate contacts within the Credit Union. This is a Full Time position in our inbound call center.

Essential Functions:

  • Assists members with opening and closing accounts, answers questions about products and services and resolves problems that are within their authority to resolve.
  • Refers problems that are beyond their authority to their supervisor, along with their recommendations.
  • Identifies cross-sell opportunities and cross-sells services to members.
  • Maintains member account information on computer system.
  • Assures that appropriate records are maintained and required reports are prepared.
  • Acts as liaison between members and various organizations and departments.

Piedmont Advantage Credit Union seeks to hire a Digital Marketing Specialist that has a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies and is able to aid and lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution in alignment with our brand, and organizational and marketing goals as well as integrating our member story throughout all digital channels aligning with our brand promise. The Digital Marketing Specialist will collaborate with the marketing team, support teams, and vendors to launch campaigns on time, consistent, relevant, and on budget to produce expected results. Additionally, the Digital Marketing Specialist develops website marketing and traffic plan, and assists with creating benchmarks to meet goals.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Propose, recommend, execute and measure strategies to maximize the credit union's digital/social media presence, revenue, brand, reputation, and to serve our target audience.
  • Monitor web traffic using Google Analytics to measure the effectiveness of current marketing programs and website design changes; create reports detailing the findings and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Building and delivering multi-channel digital campaigns (paid social, display, mobile, ppc) to reach target audience and drive business results.

Piedmont Advantage Credit Union seeks to hire a self-starter who will provide direct support for our members via the branches and call center as it relates to all credit, debit, gift and prepaid card portfolios. The incumbent will be required to have or gain knowledge of all card processing to include BINs, pre-authorizations, signature, PIN, and online purchases. New cards and PINs and their renewals will be a critical function for this role. Data breaches and fraudulent transactions as well as a thorough knowledge of Regulation E as it relates to disputed EFT transactions is a must. This role will be required to work in a fast paced team environment where multi-tasking and detail orientation is invaluable.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Proactively support staff with member related questions in order to provide quality products and services through prompt resolution which enhances the lives of our member/owners.
  • Maintain confidentiality, regulatory compliance, security, and procedural adherence in order to provide safety and soundness to operations to the credit union.
  • Pull and review all Co-Op reports for reissued cards, new cards and PINs, and fraud.
  • Process Visa cash advance fees, EFT disputes and lockbox files.
  • Review and process residual FIS adjustments as well as all debit and credit card exceptions.
  • Monitor ATM cards and inquiries, corporate cards and corresponding payments, and merchant breaches with corresponding impact on card portfolios.
  • Maintain card inventory for prepaid cards and gift cards.
  • Actively participate in procedural assessment and recommendation of changes to provide efficiency in our ongoing operation.

Piedmont Advantage is seeking an energetic and engaged Member Experience Advisor (MEA) to join our fast-paced, state of the art, branch location off Stratford road in Winston-Salem, NC. The MEA will be responsible for conveying a sense of welcome to our member-owners and facilitate an experience where member-owners are empowered through education to make sound financial decisions. This position will require that all incumbents know our entire deposit and lending operation thoroughly in order to give the high level of service that our members deserve. Due to the nature of our business in financial services, the ability to pass a financial & criminal background screen as well as a pre-employment drug test are requirements for this position.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the delivery of efficient, accurate and professional service of all financial products and services that defines excellent member experience. This will include accurately processing deposit transactions, creating out of the box solutions for member loan requests and opening accounts in an accurate and timely manner. Piedmont Advantage Credit Union seeks to hire an energetic and engaged Recovery Specialist to efficiently research and administer the responses to credit bureau disputes, coordinate, code, track and monitor bankrupt accounts placed with vendors, assist with the placement, tracking and posting of recoveries on post charge off accounts with legal or agency partners, protect the credit union’s assets and provide member value, and provide support for collection functions on the recovery team as needed.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process, research and complete credit bureau disputes claim forms submitted by members. Review daily web electronic dispute summary via e-Oscar, research and respond appropriately for the accounts. Determine root cause of error and work in conjunction with IT to implement fixes.
  • Process all bankrupt accounts: code accounts properly in XP2, coordinate placement of accounts with vendors. Follow up, track and close the accounts as needed through charge off. Monitor accounts through both internal reporting and vendor online portal. Respond to vendor requests for information.
  • Assist with monthly placement of charged off accounts with recovery vendors. Ensure proper coding, compile documents as needed, post recovery funds to the accounts, and respond to vendor requests for information.
  • Cross train within the Recovery Department to assist with incoming calls.
  • Perform daily reconciliation of associated Recovery General Ledger Accounts.
  • Responsible for maintaining proper reporting
