Piedmont Advantage Credit Union is seeking an energetic Member Relationship Team Representative to work on our fast-paced Member Relationship Team in Winston-Salem, NC. The Member Relationship Team Representative will assist members and potential members with their Credit Union needs; explaining services, setting up new accounts, responding to problems, and directing members to the appropriate contacts within the Credit Union. This is a Full Time position in our inbound call center.

Essential Functions:

  • Assists members with opening and closing accounts, answers questions about products and services and resolves problems that are within their authority to resolve.

  • Refers problems that are beyond their authority to their supervisor, along with their recommendations.

  • Identifies cross-sell opportunities and cross-sells services to members.

  • Maintains member account information on computer system.

  • Assures that appropriate records are maintained and required reports are prepared.

  • Acts as liaison between members and various organizations and departments.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Education, Training, Abilities & Experience:

  • Credit Union, Banking and/or Financial Services experience strongly preferred

  • Possesses six months to two years of similar or related experience.

  • Holds a high school diploma or GED.

  • Excellent computer skills.

Piedmont Advantage is seeking an energetic and engaged Part-time Teller to join our fast-paced branch in Charlotte, NC. The part-time teller will work in cooperation with the front line staff to assist members with their financial transactions, involving paying and receiving cash and other negotiable instruments

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Receives and processes member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals and loan payments; sells money orders to members; transfers amounts from member accounts as directed.
  • Post transactions to member accounts and maintain member records.
  • Balances cash drawer and daily transactions.
  • Welcomes members and provides routine information concerning services and directs members to appropriate department for specific information and service.
  • Performs a variety of miscellaneous tasks including typing, filing, computer input and answering the telephone.
  • Cross-sells credit union services.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills:

  • This is a Part-Time position.
  • Has six months to two years of similar or related experience.
  • Holds a high school education or GED.
  • A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or is usually of a personal or sensitive nature.

Piedmont Advantage Credit Union is seeking a Vice President of Marketing that will be responsible for directing the planning, organization and implementation of marketing activities for the credit union, including the directing, training, and managing the performance of the marketing department staff. The incumbent will formulate and execute marketing plans and budgets, consistent with credit union strategic plans and regulatory compliance; develop and execute on digital, social media, content, and segmentation marketing plans and programs, and leads the effort to consistently be on the cutting edge of marketing principles, procedures, and practices. Additionally, the Vice President of Marketing will ensure the PACU brand is maintained, improved, and upheld throughout the credit union, the communities we serve, and across all channels.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic and tactical marketing plans, which support the brand and provide value to the membership, while increasing market share and performing effectively. Strategic and tactical plans include, data-based marketing, member and consumer segmentation, campaigns, special events, advertising, public relations, with strong emphasis on digital and content marketing, all developed in coordination with executive leadership team.
  • Provide leadership and oversight to direct staff through effective goal setting, teaching, delegation, coaching and communication. Provide influence without authority to entire staff.
  • Provide support to Business Development team and local branches relating to SEG and community outreach.
  • Responsible for web site branding, design, content and voice, and compliance.
  • In collaboration with the Executive Leadership Team, develop and manage departmental financial goals and budgets.
  • Create and manage a member growth and retention program. Plan and deliver market research and member feedback to assess demand, brand positioning, and member satisfaction.
  • Manage project and act as dependency for other business projects.
  • Support and/or oversee corporate and community events, represent the credit union as an ambassador and/or speaker in areas of expertise.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of credit union and financial services products and services as well as current knowledge of industry trends, opportunities, channels, products and services.

Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills:

  • Compliance Experience Strongly Preferred
  • Budgeting Experience Strongly Preferred
  • Five to ten years of similar or related experience
  • A college degree
  • A high level of people leadership skills, including coaching, developing, team building, and leading a staff toward effective execution of plans and collaboration with other team players.
  • The ability to motivate or influence others is a material part of the job, requiring a significant level of diplomacy and trust. Obtaining cooperation (internally and/or externally) is an important part of the job.
  • A deep understanding of marketing strategy, communication and PR, as it is related to the credit union business and financials
  • A high level of analytical skills to assess and evaluate the operational areas, participate in establishing credit union financial goals, analyze new products, review legal opinions, and make recommendations
