What is a Digital Wallet?
In simple terms, a digital wallet is an electronic version of the physical wallet you carry whether you’re in North Carolina or traveling elsewhere. It stores your payment information in an online account. When you are making a purchase, you can use your mobile wallet from your mobile device to provide information instead of presenting the card each time.
How It Works
Step 1
Add your Piedmont Advantage debit and/or credit card to your digital wallet app from your mobile device.
Step 2
In your digital wallet app, tap “Add Card.”
Step 3
Choose the type of card to add, “Credit or Debit Card,” and follow the simple steps to add your card. Since our cards are vertical, it is best to enter card details manually instead of positioning your card in the frame to add card.

Tap & Go
“Tap and go” eliminates the wear and tear on your credit card due to excessive swiping and inserting of your card in merchant terminals. It also can be safer and more secure than swiping and inserting a chip. For example, “tap and go” reduces the chances of dishonest merchant employees stealing your card’s magnetic-strip through “skimming,” the practice of fraudulently procuring card data.
Apple Pay

Apple Pay is easy and works with the Apple devices you use every day. It allows you to make contactless, secure purchases in stores, in apps and on the web. And you can send and receive money from friends and family right in Messages. Apple Pay is a safer way to pay, and even simpler than using your physical card.
Google Pay
Google Pay
Google Pay makes it easy for you to make in-store and online purchases. It automatically syncs your saved credit cards wherever your Google account is logged in for quick payments, and it will import loyalty cards, tickets and offers from your Gmail account. You can pay with Google Pay wherever you see either the contactless or Google Pay symbols.
