PACU is pleased to announce the recent appointments of two key executives to its leadership team. They are new hire Charles Skara as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and newly promoted Sandy Milton as Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Can you imagine getting scammed and not being able to get your money back? If you use Peer-to-Peer payment services, like Venmo, PayPal, Zelle and Cash App, be cautious. Money transfer services like these have made it easy to send money to our friends, but it also has become the perfect tool for fraudsters to steal your hard-earned cash.

Congratulations to Sandi Richardson, our Risk Management Operations Manager, for graduating from the Carolinas Credit Union League’s Leadership Development Institute.

This leadership program is recognized industry wide for credit union professionals who aspire to gain new insights, abilities and strategies to lead with excellence within their organizations.

Piedmont Advantage Credit Union announced today that the PACU Foundation gifted on Giving Tuesday a total of $24,000 to six charities to increase their capacity to help North Carolina residents in times of financial hardship. 

The PACU Foundation’s ability to contribute these funds is due to the generosity and volunteer efforts of employees and members of Piedmont Advantage Credit Union.

Your phone rings and you see Piedmont Advantage Credit Union on your caller ID. You answer. The caller says he’s from PACU and that there is a problem with your account that needs immediate attention. He proceeds to ask for personal information, like your PIN or account password. What should you do?

Hang up! It's a scam.
